Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Oral Medicine team. As a member of our esteemed Trust, you will collaborate closely with clinical, medical, and managerial professionals to deliver exceptional healthcare services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to the Trust's established procedures and operational policies while performing all duties.
- Collaborate with fellow clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care for all Oral Medicine patients.
- Maintain awareness and compliance with all infection prevention and control protocols, including hand hygiene and environmental safety.
- Participate in annual training and updates related to infection prevention and control.
- Uphold the Code of Practice within your designated area of responsibility.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of yourself, colleagues, visitors, and patients, alongside specific risk management and clinical governance responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities
- Enhance the Oral Medicine department's capacity to provide high-quality clinical services while supporting clinical education and research initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Oral Medicine Team to deliver services to all patients.
- Provide coverage for colleagues during periods of annual leave and short-term absences.
- Share the responsibility of clinical supervision for junior medical and dental staff with other team members.
- Engage in teaching, examination, and accreditation duties as required, contributing to Continuing Medical Education and clinical governance efforts.
- Fulfill outpatient clinic commitments in peripheral hospitals as directed by the clinical lead.
- Actively participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the department's Business Plan, focusing on fostering projects that promote ongoing professional education and training.

Qualifications and Experience
- Registration with the General Dental Council is required.
- Extensive experience in all facets of oral medicine or equivalent.
- Completion of dental core training or specialty experience in Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
