Job Title: Supply and Waste Working Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supply and Waste Working Team Leader to join our Minor Civils Refurbishment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplined team of two to six people, overseeing the execution of minor civil engineering projects, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver minor civil engineering projects, including mechanical works, excavations, and installations.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct health and safety inspections, issue permits, allocate labor, manage sub-contractors, purchase materials, and ensure safe working practices on site.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Strong minor civil engineering experience, including experience operating plant machinery, such as excavators or dumpers.
  • Valid UK driving license and proven towing experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme Course (CITB SSSTS) and confined space training.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
