Are you a seasoned civil engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience leading teams and managing projects? We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Minor Civils Refurbishment team at Wessex Water.

This role will see you working across our region, covering Bristol, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Bridgwater, and everything in between. You will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplined team of two to six people, overseeing projects that involve minor civil engineering solutions, including mechanical works, excavations, and installations.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring safe working practices on site, carrying out health and safety inspections, and managing sub-contractors. You will also be required to purchase materials, site setup, and allocate labour. To succeed in this role, you should have strong minor civil engineering experience, alongside experience operating plant machinery, such as excavators or dumpers.

We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude, a great work ethic, and a dedication to doing a good job. You will be well-organised, customer-focused, and a great team player. You will also need to hold a valid UK driving licence and have proven towing experience. Preferred qualifications include Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme Course (CITB SSSTS) and confined space training.
