We are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Delivery Assistant to support our client in the beverage distribution sector. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of kegs, barrels, and cases of beverages to various establishments across the Midlands.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading deliveries at designated locations.
- Navigating using maps and ensuring accurate delivery routes.
- Handling paperwork and completing necessary documentation at each delivery point.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is highly desirable, but not essential. A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is crucial.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not mandatory).
- Local residence or reliable transportation to ensure punctual arrival at the start time.
Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
