Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at an educational trust in Salisbury. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will play a vital role in providing financial guidance and support to our schools across Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert financial advice and support to schools, ensuring compliance with education funding conditions and accounting regulations.
  • Manage and reconcile student-related grant income, resolving any discrepancies with Local Authorities and other relevant organizations.
  • Lead and develop a team of Finance Officers, including resource planning, recruitment, appraisal, and professional development.
  • Monitor and advise on EP budgets, identifying areas for improvement and generating options for review by senior management.
Requirements:
  • AAT Part Qualified or equivalent, with evidence of further training in Finance, Accountancy, and ICT.
  • Experience in producing budget monitoring reports and a good understanding of school accounting practices.
  • Previous experience working with school budgets and a strong track record of delivering financial results.
