  • You will design and implement effective PMO and project controls frameworks and strategies for assigned projects.

  • You will oversee PMO and project controls performance for your assigned projects.
  • You will collaborate with clients to meet their expectations and cultivate strong professional relationships.
  • You will provide expert guidance to project teams regarding PMO and project controls processes, focusing on cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting.
  • You will lead periodic reporting and structured governance meetings.
  • You will be accountable for developing and managing project baselines (scope, time, cost, risk, assumptions) and monitoring delivery performance.
  • You will contribute to quantitative analyses related to cost and time.
  • You will work alongside the PMO director and/or project manager to identify actions, seize opportunities, and mitigate risks.
  • You will ensure activities are aligned with Mace's control center, client requirements, and relevant legislation.
  • You will manage a team of PMO and project controls professionals to achieve project objectives.
  • You will provide technical expertise to mentor and support the personal and career development of your team members.
  • You will integrate project controls with PMO and planning disciplines.
  • You will assist the HUB PMO and project controls director with resource allocation and recruitment for your projects.
  • You will work collaboratively towards achieving net-zero carbon transition goals and actively manage associated carbon emissions during project delivery.

  • You will lead project teams in managing PMO and project controls processes, particularly concerning cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting.
  • You will support senior PMO stakeholders in shaping long-term strategies for the function or business unit.

  • You will mentor and develop your project team, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing.

  • You will assist the HUB PMO and project controls director with resource management and recruitment for your projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading PMO and project controls on complex construction projects.
  • Experience in establishing effective PMO and project controls services and frameworks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk management tools and software.
  • Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty.
  • Practical knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Deep understanding of PMO and project controls leadership in various sectors.
  • Experience working on both client and consultancy sides.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to delve deeply into topics.
  • Experience in delivering engaging presentations to diverse audiences.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Membership in professional organizations such as RICS, CIOB, APM, or ICE.
  • Extensive expertise in property or infrastructure project management.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership experience with large, diverse teams.
  • Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of how sustainability considerations impact project outlook.
