About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Architect Lead to join our team at Computacenter (UK) Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our proposed solutions align with industry best practices while being mindful of cost implications and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate service and commercial negotiations with clients, working closely with sales and pre-sales teams to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  2. Participate in customer-specific campaigns, coordinating marketing support and ensuring Computacenter brand compliance.
  3. Develop solution strategies, architectures, and designs that meet client needs and align with Computacenter's capabilities.
  4. Manage requirements and map them against Computacenter's core capabilities, ensuring effective delivery and risk management.
  5. Oversee deal costs and proactively manage risk and opportunity in a deal.
  6. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to drive business growth.

Contract Negotiation

  1. Support sales specialists and group legal teams with commercial and legal aspects of contracts.
  2. Facilitate contract negotiations from a service perspective, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards.

Delivery Initiation

  1. Support transition and transformation during service delivery initiation and handover to service teams after contract signature.
  2. Promote nominated propositions into the sales force, working with service design experts to ensure awareness of market trends, customer buying behavior, and competitor threats.

Requirements

  1. Relevant experience in IT services, including 3 years in a pre-sales or solution management role in the managed service and outsourcing industry.
  2. Experience of sales processes, including ITT/RFP qualification, responses, proposal development, presentations, contract negotiation, and closure.
  3. Deep knowledge of IT and industry standards, such as ITIL, IT4IT, and LEAN.
  4. Understanding of contracts and service contract structures for clients and external partners.
  5. High level of competence and experience with technical writing.
  6. Proficiency in writing IT managed service contract artefacts, including Schedules, Appendices, and document Contract Change Notifications.
