Job Title: Biomedical Scientist - Specialist Investigations

Join Synnovis Group LLP as a Biomedical Scientist - Specialist Investigations and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pathology services.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our team in the Cellular Pathology Department. As a Biomedical Scientist - Specialist Investigations, you will be responsible for processing specimens, analyzing and releasing results, and maintaining local quality systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist biomedical investigations as part of the laboratory team
  • Process specimens, analyze and release results while maintaining local quality systems
  • Supervise and troubleshoot to ensure the successful delivery of pathology services
  • Hold a variety of responsibilities, including supervision and troubleshooting
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) IBMS accredited degree or equivalent
  • HCPC State registration as a Biomedical Scientist
  • Specialist portfolio in relevant discipline (if HCPC Registration via IBMS Portfolio route) or equivalent experience or FIBMS
  • Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • Willing to work towards higher levels of education
  • IBMS membership
