Lead Physiotherapist

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to lead our Acute Medicine team. As a key member of the Therapies department, you will be responsible for providing expert leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services to patients within the acute medical wards.
Key Duties- Provide skilled team leadership in planning and delivering physiotherapy services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and outcomes.
- Take a major role in the advanced assessment and management of patients with complex presentations, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to determine the best course of care.
- Work autonomously, adhering to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Rules of Professional Conduct and Standards of Physiotherapy, and the Health Care Professions Council's (HCPC) regulations.
- Conduct service reviews and audits to evaluate quality, efficiency, and outcomes, implementing changes to practice to ensure high standards of clinical practice and patient care.
- Supervise, teach, and appraise physiotherapists, non-qualified physiotherapy staff, and students to graduate level, as well as multi-disciplinary team staff, in the physiotherapeutic care of patients within this specialty.

Essential- Degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registration
- Member of CSP
- Member of special interest group
- Completion of acute rotations
- Oncall competence
- Supervision of staff
