Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Windows Systems Engineer to oversee our comprehensive Windows infrastructure. This role encompasses managing critical services such as Active Directory and DNS, while also serving as a key escalation point for intricate issues within the Windows Desktop environment.

Windows serves as our primary desktop operating system, and numerous essential infrastructure services are reliant on Windows servers. Ensuring the optimal performance of these systems is vital for the seamless operation of our business.

As a member of our Windows team, your responsibilities will include enhancing, automating, and standardizing our Windows environment. A significant portion of this role will involve developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you collaborate with colleagues across various locations to troubleshoot issues, plan and implement deployments, and enhance systems wherever feasible.

Attention to detail and thorough documentation are crucial in this position. While addressing a variety of technical challenges, you will be expected to meticulously document resolutions in our online knowledge base.

This role is part of our IT Engineering division, a dedicated team of engineers responsible for monitoring and managing a Windows environment across a diverse physical and virtual computing landscape. Your analytical skills and expertise will be instrumental in supporting the daily operations of our colleagues and ensuring our systems function at the highest standards.

Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Server 2012 R2/2016/2019
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot operating systems, applications, peripherals, and network issues
  • Experience in hardware monitoring and performance optimization
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service for all support inquiries
  • A dependable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Fluency in English is required
