Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Windows Engineer to oversee our comprehensive Windows infrastructure. This role encompasses managing critical services such as Active Directory and DNS, while also serving as a key escalation point for intricate issues within the Windows Desktop environment.

As Windows serves as our primary desktop operating system, the proper functioning of our core infrastructure services, which are predominantly supported by Windows servers, is essential for maintaining business continuity.

In this role, you will collaborate with our Windows team to enhance, automate, and standardize our Windows environment. A significant portion of your responsibilities will involve developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial as you work with colleagues across various locations to identify and resolve issues, plan and implement deployments, and enhance systems wherever feasible.

Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping are vital in this position. While addressing a variety of technical challenges, you will be expected to document problem resolutions clearly in our online knowledge base.

This role is part of our IT Engineering group, a dedicated team of professionals who monitor and manage a Windows environment across a diverse physical and virtual computing landscape spanning multiple continents. Your analytical skills and expertise will be essential in supporting the daily operations of our colleagues and ensuring our systems function at the highest standards.

Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Server versions 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot workstation operating systems, applications, peripherals, and network issues
  • Experience in hardware monitoring and performance optimization
  • Strong communication skills, maintaining a high level of customer service for all support inquiries
  • A dependable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Fluency in English is required
