Permanent – Full Time Opportunity
We are seeking two skilled Multi Skilled Operatives to join our Waltham Forest contract team.
About the Role
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service by carrying out responsive and planned repairs to occupied properties. Your key responsibilities will include:
- The maintenance, management, and installation of sanitary appliances, including soil and waste connections.
- Repairing leaks, repairing and replacing toilet seats, replacing showerheads or hoses, unblocking waste traps, toilets, gutters, rainwater pipes, and other plumbing work as needed.
- Carrying out finishing trades, including plastering and thermal boarding.
- Repairing and patching plaster and replacing small to large areas of tiles.
- General painting and making good paintwork after a repair.
- Carrying out carpentry works, including overhauling and replacement.
- Undertaking different levels of tiling, from splashback to full bath surround.
- Carrying out adequate levels of brickwork and pointing works.
- Installing vinyl flooring.
About You
Candidates will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification and have excellent working H & S knowledge. You will be customer-focused, with experience of working in both occupied and void properties, and have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.
You must hold a valid full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months, as a company vehicle will be provided for work use only.
