We are in search of a meticulous individual to become part of our team as a Cost Analysis Specialist. This position involves the creation and management of cost analysis files to bolster our Aftermarket Business, ensuring precise master data entries into our ERP system.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather essential documentation and input cost data into the ERP system
- Develop cost estimates for the recommended spare parts list for aircraft service entry
- Generate comprehensive cost files for aftermarket manufactured components
- Examine and validate bills of materials
- Coordinate data management activities
- Acquire accurate cost information for purchased components
- Identify potential risk factors to mitigate business risks
- Evaluate make versus buy decisions
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure precise cost calculations
- Assist Aftermarket pricing and operational teams
- Provide guidance and support to team members
- Engage in project workshops
- Exhibit flexibility to work across various sites
- Monitor KPIs and promote performance enhancements
Required Skills:
- Level 3 qualifications or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of the costing process
- Prior experience in a commercial Aftermarket role
- Ability to interpret and comprehend technical drawings
- Experience within the Aircraft Seating sector
- Proficient estimating skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
