Senior Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at The Ayr Clinic, a leading provider of forensic mental health services in Scotland.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality patient care. This will involve clinical supervision, training, and induction of new staff, as well as covering late notice of shift cancellations and providing support to other areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership support and training to the ward-based nursing teams, including clinical supervision and induction of new staff.
- Cover late notice of shift cancellations and provide support to other areas as needed.
- Ensure a high standard of patient care is provided, complying with all quality standards and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and quality walk rounds to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements:
- Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council, meeting the requirements of Revalidation.
- Trained Assessor/Supervisor.
- Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued Professional Development and leadership.
- Good computer skills.
