Job Summary
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Charge Nurse to join our dedicated care home teams. As a Charge Nurse, you'll be responsible for overseeing the care of every resident in your area of the care home, ensuring their wellbeing is always at the forefront of your mind. You'll work closely with our multi-professional teams to deliver high-quality care, and you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
Main Responsibilities
As a Charge Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the care of residents in your area of the care home
- Running the care home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager
- Following up on resident visits related to ill health
- Administering prescribed medicines
- Keeping records to meet statutory legal requirements
Person Specification
We're looking for a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number, who is committed to their profession and understands the standards of practice set by the NMC. You'll have a degree in Nursing and a passion for delivering high-quality care to our residents.
