Biffa Waste Services is on the lookout for a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to enhance their team. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of £18.46 along with a substantial joining bonus of £1,500.

Shift Schedule: 0600 – 1530 / 1030 – 2000 on a rotating weekly basis, with additional opportunities for overtime and on-call work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles and waste management machinery while adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and service inspections to fulfill operator's licence obligations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Full Level 3 HGV / PSV apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of a valid car/van driving licence.
  • IRTEC Certification is preferred.
