Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Senior Community Transport Supervisor to lead and support a team of Community Care Drivers in our expanding operations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of vehicle dispatch for community transport services.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks.
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Working Hours: Flexible options available, including both Part-Time and Full-Time.
- Compensation: £12.06 per hour
- Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday with variable hours and occasional on-call duties.

Main Duties:
- Assist the Operations Manager in planning driver schedules to optimize efficiency while adhering to driving regulations.
- Conduct regular checks on driving licenses and CPC certifications as necessary.
- Support the recruitment process alongside the Operations Manager.
- Act as the primary contact for driving staff to address any operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations related to the Operator's Licence.
- Perform routine inspections of the premises and report findings to the Operations Manager.
Candidate Requirements:
- Preferred qualifications include a PHV/PCV Licence (Cat D/D1 without 101 restriction) or a B Licence (car).
- CPC certification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years of driving experience is preferred.
- Management or supervisory experience within the last 3 years is preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
