Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst Apprenticeship

Thames Laboratories, a leading accredited asbestos consultancy, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst apprentice. This 21-month apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of asbestos management, while earning a salary and gaining industry-recognized qualifications.

About the Role

As an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for conducting asbestos surveys, air monitoring, and sampling, as well as ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations. You will work closely with experienced surveyors and analysts, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct asbestos surveys and investigations in various settings, including domestic properties, grade II listed buildings, and nuclear power plants.
  • Perform air monitoring, sampling, and analysis to identify asbestos-containing materials.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients at all levels.
  • Travel throughout your allocated region and potentially further afield as part of your day-to-day role.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must be 18 or over, hold a Full UK driver's license, not be in full-time education, have lived in the UK for 3 years, and have the right to work in the UK.
