Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Air Export Gateway Coordinator to join our team at Expeditors. As an Air Export Gateway Coordinator, you will be responsible for timely processing and consolidating air export shipments, ensuring consistent communication with branches, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Process Air Export Shipments
    • Prepare master air waybills and necessary documentation
    • File customs documents
    • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
  • Communicate with Branches and Customers
    • Receive and update shipment status in a timely manner
    • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
    • Track and trace air export shipments
  • Coordinate with Service Providers
    • Interact with branches in arranging international shipments, meeting/exceeding customer service standards
    • Coordinate with contracted service providers in procuring space and services
  • Meet Compliance and Quality Standards
    • Meet compliance at all times to regulations, including internal policies and procedures
    • Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
    • Meet KPI standards, as per company procedures
Requirements
  • Months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Global logistics industry knowledge
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
  • IATA/FIATA and Hazardous Materials certification is a plus
  • Fluent in English
