Physiotherapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Medical Inpatient Physiotherapy team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including acute respiratory needs.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise and support junior staff, including Band 5 therapists and support workers.
- Deputise for senior staff as required.
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotas, as well as late shifts.
- Contribute to the development of our service, working closely with senior staff to implement evidence-based practice.
- Support student placements and provide formal and informal training.
- Provide a supportive and learning environment for team members, including annual appraisals and health and wellbeing support.

Requirements- BSc honours degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
- State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Postgraduate training relevant to the area.
- Experience of working in an acute inpatient setting.
- Ability to communicate complex information and motivate, train, and teach others.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous experience as a Band 6 Physiotherapist.
- Experience of audit and performance management.
- Leadership and management qualifications.
