SARC Manager

The SARC Manager is a critical position within Mountain Healthcare Ltd, responsible for leading and managing the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate safe and effective services for victims of rape and sexual assault.

• Coordinate and deliver safe and effective services to all clients of the SARC, meeting national and local targets.
• Evaluate and assess current service delivery, implementing changes in practice to deliver significant improvements in access and service delivery.
• Manage all employees associated with the SARC, ensuring a high level of care and support for patients.
• Develop and implement a strategic vision for the service, ensuring changes meet internal and external expectations and budgetary constraints.

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Basic Life Support training (provided).
• Working with vulnerable people.
• Excellent communication skills and styles.
• Proven strong judgement and analysis.
• Venepuncture trained.
• Managerial experience.
• Trained to complete forensic examinations.
• Awareness of SARC commissioning.
