About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our Construction Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the administration of property expansion and portfolio improvement projects throughout the store development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Construction team with ad hoc tasks and data analysis
  • Provide administrative support to senior management within the department
  • Manage property and contract information systems, ensuring good data quality
  • Communicate with regional Property Office and international support teams
  • Provide system support and training to all Regional offices
  • Produce regular reports and maintain trackers
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve issues and share best practices
  • Assist with accounts and service charge queries
  • Carry out comparisons of budgets vs. actual project costs
  • Process and track invoices
  • Maintain the department archive and log documents
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and track invoices
Requirements
  • German language skills are preferable
  • A genuine passion for performing administrative tasks effectively, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Very strong organizational skills
  • A strong multitasker who can prioritize conflicting deadlines and varied workload
  • Highly focused and accurate with an uncompromising eye for detail
  • A motivated and proactive team player with a can-do attitude, capable of working independently
  • Experience within SAP systems would be an advantage
  • Good communication, literacy, and numerical skills
  • Good Excel skills and experience working with other Microsoft Office programs (e.g. PowerPoint)
  • Background in construction or property is desirable but not essential
