Warehouse Operations Specialist

About the Role
Avery Dennison Smartrac is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to join our team at the main European Distribution Centre. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of products to our customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch, including UK and export shipments
- Preparing necessary dispatch paperwork, including understanding import and export procedures
- Working with the Oracle order management system to release stock and generate necessary paperwork
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Inventory/stock control and liaison with Customer Service and Sales teams
- Customization of shipments according to customer-specific requirements
- Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and adhering to Health and Safety rules
Requirements
- Relevant warehousing experience and current forklift truck license (preferred)
- Computer literacy and ability to use in-house systems
- Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
