Product Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Security Manager to join our team at Canon. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our product security strategy, ensuring the security of our products and solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement product security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and execute product audits, vulnerability management, and penetration testing programs to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop presales InfoSec for major tenders and strategic partners.
- Manage Canon's CVE Numbering Authority and present a globally aligned stance to product vulnerabilities.
- Oversee threat research programs into Canon products and solutions, implementing changes to materially improve products.
- Own product security incidents across the EMEA region and engage with the global information security industry and community.
- Standardize core team processes and oversee team analysis of security trends and cutting-edge research.
- Manage budgets and resources to drive business growth and security initiatives.
- Significant experience in IT, Information Security, or IT Security in multiple sectors.
- Digital leadership skills to empower and lead an Information Security team.
- People leadership skills to provide direction, monitor performance, motivate staff, and build a positive working environment.
- Ability to interpret global information security markets and translate into business sales strategy.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-moving IT landscape and keep pace with latest thinking and new security technologies.
- Passion for technology and security safeguarding with a desire to deliver.
- Thrives on change, showing an impressive ability to drive the IT security strategy forward.
- Analytical mind to manage numerous information sources and provide data analysis reports to senior management.
- Strong customer focus to meet the demands of internal and external customers.
- Excellent communication skills to provide verbal and written communication that is outstanding to both direct reports and senior management.
- Flexible and adaptable to change direction where required and show flexibility to meet new demands.
- Proven experience of developing business partnerships to drive the IT security strategy forward.
- Ability to make timely and well-informed decisions and creatively solve problems.
- Ability to multitask to manage concurrent projects and prioritize demands.
- A salary band of circa 79K – 110K dependent on experience and a 10% bonus and annual pay review.
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
- Flexible core hours – starting anytime between 07:30am and 10am and finishing any time after 16:00, providing the standard 7.5 hours have been worked.
