Product Security Manager

Canon EMEA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive information security strategy to optimize Canon's product security position.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver target security architecture and strategic security roadmaps for Canon EMEA products.
- Manage and execute the product audit program, including technical audits, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
- Develop presales InfoSec for major tenders and strategic partners.
- Manage Canon's CVE Numbering Authority and present a globally aligned stance to product vulnerabilities.
- Oversee threat research programs into Canon products and solutions, implementing changes to materially improve products.
- Owning product security incidents across the EMEA region.
- Engage with the global information security industry and community, creating and overseeing processes to triage reported product security issues.
- Significant and proven experience of either IT, Information Security, or IT Security in multiple sectors.
- Digital leadership skills – capable of empowering and leading an Information security team to meet business and IT security goals.
- People leadership skills – providing direction, monitoring performance, motivating staff, and building a positive working environment.
- Ability to interpret global information security markets and translate into business sales strategy.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-moving IT landscape and keep pace with latest thinking and new security technologies.
- A passion for technology and security safeguarding with a desire to deliver.
- Thrives on change, showing an impressive ability to drive the IT security strategy forward.
- An analytical mind, capable of managing numerous information sources and providing data analysis reports to senior management.
- Strong customer focus – able to meet the demands of internal and external customers.
- Excellent communication skills – providing verbal and written communication that is outstanding to both direct reports and senior management, as well as other stakeholders.
- Flexible and adaptable – capable of changing direction where required and showing flexibility to meet new demands.
- Proven experience of developing business partnerships that help drive the IT security strategy forward.
- Ability to make timely and well-informed decisions and creatively solve problems.
- Ability to multitask to manage concurrent projects and prioritize demands.
- Media trained.
- Ability to hold and be approved for government security clearances.
