We are seeking to hire a motivated, professional, and self-assured individual who excels in delivering exceptional client support.

Your role will involve providing information and guidance to clients across 16+ different council service areas, both in person and via telephone. Clients reaching out may be vulnerable, frustrated, or distressed, thus requiring high levels of personal resilience and advanced communication skills.

Flexibility is essential for all team members. While the position is primarily based in our Contact Centre, you may also be required to assist at our in-person offices as needed.

This position is vital for delivering frontline services for the Councils, necessitating the ability to manage telephone inquiries and visitors regarding council matters, as well as utilizing IT systems to effectively resolve client queries.

Previous experience in client support and familiarity with council operations would be advantageous, although training will be provided. We are looking for a diligent, adaptable specialist committed to ensuring outstanding client service, even when the council cannot fulfill the client's desired outcome.

Client Support Specialists are often consulted when the Councils seek to enhance services, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable contributing to ongoing service improvement initiatives.

The successful applicant will undergo a Basic DBS clearance and three years of employment referencing.
