Our client, a prominent international manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Operations Technician to enhance their growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and upkeep of all utility systems independently, under the guidance of the senior utilities operator, ensuring optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a consistent supply of water to the demineralization storage tanks.
- Guarantee that high-quality water is delivered to the boilers within specified parameters.
- Uphold excellent housekeeping standards in the utility plant at all times.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments for the water treatment facility with oversight from the senior operator.
- Conduct routine sampling to support the performance of the plant.
- Be adaptable to participate in an on-call rotation to meet operational demands.
- Ensure completion of all daily inspections for the facility and escalate any identified issues.
Candidate Requirements:
- OND & GCSE qualifications.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in IT applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
