Civil / Infrastructure Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil / Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team at CV Library. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the UK water industry, with a strong background in civil engineering design.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake detailed design work on below ground wastewater and clean water infrastructure projects for water company clients.
  2. Develop and implement design philosophies and fundamentals.
  3. Manage and allocate CAD output from technicians.
  4. Ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting cost and quality requirements.
  5. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure project success.
  6. Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and with contractors and professionals.
  7. Liaise with statutory service providers and document reviews.
  8. Communicate effectively with clients, design teams, and contractors.
Requirements:
  1. Strong knowledge and experience of wastewater and clean water infrastructure design.
  2. Good understanding of design delivery, health, safety, and environmental processes.
  3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Excellent numerical, analytical, and IT skills.
  5. Effective communication and report-writing skills.
  6. Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial.
Qualifications:
  1. Educated to Degree level or equivalent (HNC/HND Diploma).
  2. Full UK driving licence.
Salary:
  1. Design Engineer: Up to £45,000 plus package.
  2. Senior Design Engineer: Up to £60,000 plus package.
