About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stock Processor to join our trading team at Cancer Research UK. As an ambassador for our organization, you will be responsible for processing and preparing pre-loved items for sale, ensuring they are accurately priced, tagged, and presented to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage new and donated stock, including rotation, replenishment, pricing, steaming, and tagging.
- Assist the store team in achieving sales and fundraising targets by providing excellent customer service and supporting the sales process.
- Support the training of colleagues and volunteers in stock processing and management.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, security, and health and safety standards.
- Develop strong relationships with community members and supporters, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
Requirements
- Experience working in a busy customer-facing environment.
- Adaptability to changing situations and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis, with a positive approach to building relationships with community members.
