About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our team at Evri. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of parcels across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of parcels from depots to clients and other sites in the Hermes network.
  • Collect and deliver parcels safely, update paperwork, and assist depot staff with heavier items as needed.
  • Be responsible for tail-lifting, loading, and unloading your own vehicle.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, driver's CPC, and digital tachograph.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
  • Reasonable physical fitness.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £15.58 per hour, with an overtime rate of £23.37 once full-time hours are completed. Our full-time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days' annual leave (including Bank Holidays), 3% contribution into their pension, and a range of flexible benefits.
