Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver - Days or Nights

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team in the Bolton area. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Securely move and transport palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
  • Handle runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  • Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
  • Interact with customers and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
