Environmental Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Design Engineer to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. As a key member of our Environmental Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing test fixtures for vibration and shock testing across all MBDA products.
About the RoleThis is an exciting time to join our team as we undergo a significant expansion in space and capability. Our new building is due to be commissioned in 2025, and we are looking for talented individuals to help us achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Design mechanical test fixtures for vibration and shock testing
- Work closely with project and test teams to provide details on test requirements, interfaces, and products for testing
- Maintain a database of all fixture designs and test setups
- Expand into mechanical and hybrid modelling
- HNC/HND/Degree qualified in a subject relevant to the role or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Experience of mechanical design work using CAD tools, ideally CREO
- Good problem-solving skills coupled with a sound fundamental knowledge of mechanical structures and analysis
- IT Competence including MS Word, Excel, and Access
- Determined individuals that are self-motivated and can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year)
