Static Site Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd. This role is pivotal in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular monitoring of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Perform maintenance on pumps, motors, seals, and bearings.
- Oversee air conditioning systems, including air handling units and fan coil units, ensuring filter changes and cleaning are performed.
- Manage water treatment processes, including temperature checks.
- Handle plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets and replacing fixtures.
- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) for optimal performance.
- Execute basic electrical duties, including lamp replacements.
- Maintain general building fabric and assist specialist subcontractors as needed.
This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with opportunities for overtime.
Qualifications- Must possess mechanical qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds).
- A proven background in commercial building maintenance is essential.
- Multi-skilled with excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
- Additional qualifications in electrical or air conditioning systems are highly desirable.
The salary for this role is competitive, reaching up to £40,000 based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Overtime pay at 1.5 and 2.0 rates.
