Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our settings and equipment to ensure the health and safety of children and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Communicate with the Regional Maintenance Manager to prioritize and manage work schedules and budgets.
  • Liaise with nursery managers and regional managers to ensure maintenance needs are met.
  • Proactively identify and report maintenance issues to the Regional Maintenance Manager.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple sites to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of maintenance works.
  • Full clean driving license and own transport.
  • Relevant qualification within maintenance field desirable.
  • Clear and valid DBS.
  • GCSE grade C or above in English & Maths.
