About the Position

Balfour Beatty Major Projects Division is renowned for its excellence in constructing both minor and extensive infrastructure undertakings. Our extensive experience and expertise enable us to deliver tailored, cost-effective service packages for our clients. We combine the financial stability and extensive resources of a major contractor with the localized focus provided by our regional teams.

We are currently seeking a Senior Methods Engineer to join our team at our corporate headquarters. This role offers flexible travel options and hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Methods Engineer, you will be responsible for developing efficient and optimal construction strategies for a diverse range of significant infrastructure projects within the Transport and Energy sectors. Your expertise in design, construction techniques, temporary works, logistics, and project management will be crucial during the bidding and pre-construction phases.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Current knowledge of construction methodologies
  • Proficient in project planning
  • Experience in complex project environments, ideally at Sub Agent / Site Agent level or higher
  • Ability to manage multiple major projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with digital modeling
