As an Information Technology Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our technological framework, ensuring that our systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

User Support:

Provide exceptional first and second-level assistance, promptly addressing hardware, software, and network challenges.


Infrastructure Oversight:
Maintain our IT environment by installing, configuring, and managing computer systems, servers, and networking devices.

System & Server Management:
Oversee user accounts and permissions, track system performance, and ensure the continuous availability of our IT services.

Network Oversight:
Design, implement, and manage local and wide area networks, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and resolving any issues that may arise.

Security Oversight:
Safeguard our information and systems through advanced security protocols, regular assessments, and vulnerability checks.

Data Backup and Recovery:
Ensure data protection with dependable backup and disaster recovery strategies, maintaining data integrity at all times.

Project Leadership:

Lead and participate in IT projects, from system enhancements to new implementations, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.


Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, providing training and support to end-users.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or relevant vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS).
Experience in managing enterprise-level security solutions and practices.
