About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to join our New Product Introduction team at Oxford Instruments Plc.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development of our products from concept to delivery, ensuring they meet the required quality, cost, and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, design, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in product or equipment design, ideally in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Relevant degree in engineering and a project management qualification would be desirable.
