About the Role

FRS Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and commercially focused Senior Financial Strategist to join their executive team. As a key member of the company's leadership team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the company's continued expansion and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of 8 finance professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial services.
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Support the company's leadership team in developing and delivering strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Own the annual budgeting and reforecasting process to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) with each business channel to ensure the delivery of strategic plans.
  • Drive the delivery of upgraded weekly and monthly reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with the operations team to ensure the delivery of inventory and margin plans.
  • Monitor return on investment (ROI) on marketing and other spend to support business growth.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Experience gained within the manufacturing, engineering, or motor retail sectors.
  • Demonstrable cross-functional impact in a challenging environment.
  • Commercially focused with a passion for business partnering and working closely with wider teams.
  • A dynamic people manager with the ability to lead and develop first-class finance teams.
  • Experience of policy, system, and process development and improvement.

What We Offer

FRS Ltd offers a competitive basic salary of up to £130,000, excellent benefits, and a bonus structure. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work towards becoming the statutory Finance Director/CFO within 6-12 months, with the potential for an equity stake or long-term incentive plan.
