About the Role:

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team as a Sendco (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) at an ambitious school. This is a temporary position, covering a maternity leave for approximately 8-9 months, with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the school's SEND team in coordinating and implementing special educational needs policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with autism (ASD).
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports related to student progress and SEND.
  • Collaborate with the school's leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Provide administrative support to the SEND team, including preparing reports, managing databases, and coordinating meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
