Job Title: Data Centre Relief Officer

This is a unique opportunity to join ICTS Europe as a Relief Security Officer for our Data Centre client in the Slough and Uxbridge area.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and technology-savvy individual to ensure the security and safety of premises and people. As a Relief Security Officer, you will be part of a team that supports the ongoing operation to cover holiday and leave. You will need to be flexible and able to respond to last-minute requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage access control for buildings and car-parks, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access.
  • Patrol the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect potential problems.
  • Check and challenge ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.
  • De-activate and activate alarms, and unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to ensure that no unauthorized personnel or hazards are on site.
  • Monitor fire, security, and building systems, including CCTV.
  • Identify and report Health & Safety issues and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Respond to customer requests and queries.
  • Maintain records, including incident reports, using computer- and paper-based systems.
Requirements
  • An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security.
  • Five years' checkable history and references.
  • To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards.
Desirable Qualifications
  • SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) license.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role.

Full training, uniform, and health and safety equipment (PPE) are provided.
