Construction Cost Manager

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at PJ Treacy & Sons Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure financial efficiency and project profitability.
- Tender Preparation: Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement plans.
- Cost Control: Implement effective cost control measures to manage expenses and avoid budget overruns.
- Valuation: Conduct accurate valuations of ongoing work and ensure timely payment applications.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage potential financial risks associated with construction projects.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on project costs, financial status, and variances for stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction cost estimating software and tools.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and numerical skills to assess and manage project costs effectively.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with team members, contractors, and clients.
