Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering pre to post contract services to maximize commercial success and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full range of pre to post contract services to ensure commercial success and profitability.
  • Develop and implement cost planning and value management strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
  • Prepare and submit PQQ, Bid, and Tender submissions to secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and contractual obligations.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in construction or fit-out.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing and dealing with contractual issues.
  • Full driving license and ability to travel weekly.
