We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a Senior Lecturer or Reader in Marine and Offshore Engineering. The successful candidate will be part of our Liverpool Logistics, Offshore and Marine Research Institute (LOOM) and contribute to our research activities in Marine and Offshore Engineering, Offshore Renewables, and Maritime Decarbonisation.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong track record of securing external funding, collaborating within research teams, and creating impactful research outputs. They will also have a proven ability to deliver an outstanding teaching and learning experience to students.
Key Responsibilities- Embed research-informed teaching practices in the classroom.
- Take a proactive role in developing bids for external funding for research and innovation projects.
- Generate high-quality, impactful outputs from research.
- Contribute to the broader academic activities of the school, supporting curriculum enrichment, recruitment, and outreach.
