About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking meals for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our patients and staff.
  • Ensure the efficient and cost-effective control of stock, including ordering and receiving deliveries.
  • Assist the Head Chef in researching and creating new menus that meet the highest standards of quality and nutrition.
  • Supervise and support catering staff to ensure they meet operational standards and company policies.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ2 equivalent in culinary arts.
  • Level 2 in food hygiene or basic food hygiene with intentions of gaining a level 3.
  • Knowledge of food allergens and dietary requirements.
  • Experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
