Position Overview:

We are seeking a committed professional to offer essential assistance to our Merchandising division.

This position entails overseeing store inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels, aiding in product planning and distribution, and contributing to the selection of product ranges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in weekly trade discussions and support strategic business choices.
  • Create weekly reports on vital performance metrics including sales, inventory, profit margins, and markdowns relative to departmental objectives.
  • Analyze historical sales data to predict future product needs.
  • Formulate replenishment strategies and ensure appropriate assortments.
  • Assess the effectiveness of seasonal promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Enhance stock efficiency to boost profitability.
  • Maintain effective communication with store personnel to streamline operational tasks such as returns, pricing adjustments, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with the Allocation team to oversee inventory levels and replenishment processes.
  • Conduct regular store inspections to ensure departmental KPIs are met.
  • Manage line cards effectively.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as required, focusing on product categories and specific product lines.
  • Assist in seasonal purchasing by providing insights and selecting key items for the retail sector.
  • Provide historical analyses for Seasonal Planning Forecasts to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SAP is beneficial.
