Job Summary

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products. This role is onsite at our Ware offices, 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Test completed assemblies for correct operation and functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and replace defective assembly components to maintain product quality.
  • Investigate and diagnose faults to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Experience in a production and assembly environment, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, including precision instruments.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
  • Good practical skills and manual dexterity, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work accurately, methodically, and to complete tasks to a high standard.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
