Procurement Terminal Cost Controller

DivalentineCalver Recruitment is seeking an experienced Procurement Terminal Cost Controller to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining terminal and port services vendor tariff costs, as well as implementing new developments and supporting procurement coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and maintain terminal and port services vendor tariff costs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Implement new developments, such as new transhipment ports, services, routes, or third-party agents, to optimize procurement processes.
  3. Support procurement coordinators with vendor database updates and provide data for terminal and port services tender management.
  4. Execute effective administrative billing and invoice query resolution.
  5. Monitor data correctness and validity, allowing front lines to organize pricing in the most cost-effective way, including periodic yield review.
  6. Prepare and assist with audits, as well as archive vendor-related data agreements in line with procurement policies and audit duties.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and operations within the maritime shipping or logistics industry, with a preference for experience across multiple European regions. Strong analytical, methodical, and detail-oriented skills are required, with a heavy focus on numbers and Excel spreadsheets.
