We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Payroll professional to join our team at VRP Solutions in Aberdeen. The position is a full-time, permanent contract and will be based onsite.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Supervise and manage the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payments.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of payroll and accounts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
• Ensure that all payroll and tax-related activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide company secretarial support, including maintaining corporate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Requirements:**
• Proven track record of managing a highly effective payroll operation, with managerial experience essential.
• Previous experience in the logistics industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's specific payroll requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Partners at all levels, including CEOs and Directors.
• Good standard of education, with a strong foundation in finance and accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex payroll issues.
• Proficiency in using new technology and digital solutions, including payroll software and data analytics tools.
• Valid driving license, with the ability to travel to client sites as required.
**Benefits:**
• Competitive salary, up to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Full-time, permanent contract with a Monday-to-Friday working week.
