We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team as a Wireless Estate Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Network Infrastructure support across a large client campus, with a primary focus on wireless estate management.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues on all networking infrastructure.
- Configure and deploy network equipment.
- Adhere to strict policies and processes around security and data protection.
- Close contact with the customer to ensure project deliverables.
- Create internal technical documents for the local team.
- Complete passive or active wireless surveys.
- Risk ownership and escalation.
- Aruba/HPE Network accreditation minimum Professional.
- Proven extensive networking background, minimum 4 years experience.
- Demonstrated ability to recognise and react to situations with a sense of urgency and problem ownership.
- Knowledge of network equipment from the following vendors - Cisco, Nokia & HPE/Aruba.
- HPE IMC and Solarwinds.
- ITIL Service Management Foundation.
- Experience of IT incident management.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of an onsite team, providing Network Infrastructure support across a large client campus. The role is primarily responsible for wireless estate management, covering day-to-day support and managing delivery of upgrades and some project activities. Shift hours will be between 07:00 and 19:00, Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota.
The salary for this role is £50-55k + benefits + on-call allowance claimed through overtime, which works out to be about 23% extra (up to est. £).
