Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Safety Consultant to join our expanding fire safety consultancy division. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in improving fire safety within the built environment and supporting the technical delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Fire Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards.
  • Assist with Construction Stage Fire Safety Site Audits to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Conduct Compartmentation Surveys to identify potential fire risks within buildings.
  • Conduct Fire Door Surveys to ensure fire doors are properly installed and maintained.
  • Conduct External Wall Surveys in support of PAS 9980 assessments to identify potential fire risks.
  • Contribute to the development of Retrospective Fire Strategies to improve fire safety within existing buildings.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 fire safety/fire risk assessment qualification.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in Fire Risk Assessment with the ability to conduct these independently.
  • Knowledge of current and upcoming fire safety legislation and guidance in the UK.
  • Fire risk assessment qualification/accreditation (IFE, IFSM Tier 2 Risk Assessor Register or equivalent).
